This project was a re-editing of a found documentary on avalanche control procedures using a 105 mm howitzer in Rogers Pass of British Columbia. All avalanches ran backwards (uphill), voice over narration was dubbed out, the scientific information deleted, and the eerie funereal dirge-like soundtrack made to fade in and out of the whole film, which ended up at roughly 5 min in length. It was endlessly looped for projection.
